Description

Published by the European Diving Technology Committee (EDTC), the editors and authors of this book represent the powerhouse of European and North Sea diving expertise. They have joined together to produce a concise collection of guidance for medical examiners of divers, whether they be UK, Scandinavian or EU based, setting out fitness to dive standards.

A 2024 update with the title Medical assessment for work under pressure (available from this site), additionally address risks associated with hyperbaric tunnelling works which are becoming more complex including mixed gas and saturation procedures. However, the earlier guidance in this edition remains valid for other circumstances.

Edited by Jűrg Wendling, Roland Vanden Eede, David Elliott, Jack Meintjes, Jean-Louis Meliet and Tor Nome.
